Big Picture Processes, For User Centered UI's
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the web development process required to secure a desirable user experience through a web user interface. In an attempt to get my thoughts down on paper I conjured up the following diagram to help communicate my thinking on the process.
Given that this diagram highlights the factors that contribute to high quality UI’s I have purposeful minimized other parts of the process that I know for a fact are more complex then my diagram acknowledges. With this in mind, I’m curious if what I have created really makes any sense at all. What do you think? Check out the diagram, and let me know. Am I off my rocker, or do my scribbles here (the diagram) make any sense?

If the mouse pointer changes to a hand when you roll-over an image associated with a story the image upon clicking either links to enlarged version of the image or a website associated with the image.
Yes It does make sense… well atleast to me!
@Imad – Thank you for speaking up. I was beginning to thing I was alone on this.
Makes good sense to me… but I do design and code and project manage. I jus twish we had all those people to do that job where I work!
Makes perfectly good sense to me and i’m just a novice. Its also very handy as it serves as a good reminder of the many different processes you have to go through to make a decent, well thought out website for a client or yourself.
