Wyatt Baxter Lindley Has Arrived
After a somewhat turbulent pregnancy, and birth, Wyatt Baxter Lindley decided to bless us with his presence on December 22nd, 2005 at 3:04pm. And while I am so, so, proud to be a father I am elated with love for the astounded strength and courage that resides in my lovely wife. My admiration for her endless show of strength is at a jaw dropping stage. I am truly taken back with all she has endured in the last couple of days, as well as the last couple of months. She truly has been a testament to my understanding of the strength and grace that God gives to those who know him. It’s been our motto that this pregnancy is “Pain with a Purpose” (thanks Jeff & Kyra). The pain, as well as the purpose, has been crucial in the edification of our marriage and relationship with the Lord. Today I stand on the other side of this experience with a sense of joy and complete admiration for my spouse. Tomorrow I look forward to knowing my spouse as a mother, and myself as a father.

Congrats Cody. May the Lord Bless you, your wife and your baby boy.
Congrats Cody, I know you’ll make a terrible father.
I mean great! Great!
Congratulations Cody! The guys mentioned to me this morning about the new little addition to your family. This is exciting news and as Yannick stated, may the Lord truly bless you, your wife and your son. Enjoy your time off with the family. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Karen
@Yannick, Hugh, and Karen
Thanks guys, and indeed the good Lord has been gracious to Lisa and myself. Happy Holidays.
Thanks for commenting.
My prediction: Wyatt will become the best ActionScript programmer this side of the Mississippi, and will personally prosecute any who dare to use his code without authorization. That way, he’s got the best of both worlds, from mom and dad! Congrats, by the way.
At last…
Man, I’ve been checking the site on a regular basis for this very post. I’m so happy for you both, it’s a crazy-wonderful experience from here on in.
He looks like a sweetie already.
Take care of yourself and the family; if you ever need any bad fathering advice, you know who to email…
Congratulations, brother. Holding Wyatt was an amazing experience, and Brie and I are thankful that we got to share in your joy in that way.
I look forward to watching the little guy grow up. You guys are already great parents. By the way, take some notes for me, if you don’t mind.
God bless, bro. We’re excited for you!
@Nathan S – I would be so proud if the little guy wanted to live the rockstar life of a programmer.
@Brian – Thanks, and don’t hold back on the advice. I’m new to this game (fatherhood).
@Nathan L – Glad you could visit us too. You know me, when you have a shorty on the way I’m sure I will be stocked full of fatherly opinions.
What a beautiful baby boy. Congratulations!
Congratulations Lindleys! Health and happiness to you all in 2006.
The New Lindley Prodigy has arrived! Congrats!
-Steve
@Rob – Thanks…
@Jeremy K – To you as well.
@Steve – Prodigy, that just might fit. (proud father)
God’s blessings on you & your new son
Congratulations!
That’s a good-looking family, my friend. Glad to see Wyatt and Lisa happy and healthy. You have certainly been blessed.
Welcome to fatherhood—better start that college fund…
@Paul – Thanks man, any fatherly advice you may have would be much appreciated. We’re rolling on the college thing already.
