Maybe this is old news, and maybe its not. Clusty is a search engine. Its not your normal search engine however. It’s a little smarter then google in that it will categorize search results. Here is a explanation strait from the horses mouth:
“Thus a search for ‘pearl’ organizes the top 250-500 results into subject folders such as Jewelry, Pearl Harbor, Pearl Jam, Steinbeck Novel and Daniel Pearl. Clusty allows users to focus on the area of interest without all the chaff.”
I’m a big fan of google, but this new Clusty is pretty sweet. I might be jumping ship, see ya Google.

If the mouse pointer changes to a hand when you roll-over an image associated with a story the image upon clicking either links to enlarged version of the image or a website associated with the image.
It reminds me of the way eBay categorizes things. The design is also nice, but still fairly light in terms of page weight. Very, very cool. Watch out, Google.
