Ponderosa Ridge Developement Showcased On CSS Beauty

Today Ponderosa Ridge Developement was showcased on CSS Beauty. I would be lying if didn’t admit that I’m completely stoked that a site I designed & developed was chosen to be showcased on CSS Beauty (permanent link). Hector Alexander Giron, thanks! Its been a rough couple of days and this was just the boost I needed.

Let me be the first to give you a big digital pat on the back. That’s a huge accomplishment and you deserve it.

Keep up the good work, bro. You’re tearin’ it up.

Congrat man! Nice… I found it gallery-worthy when I saw it. Not being the only one, I know, but I too have my doubts about the spelling. But the design is great.

    Rob, thanks man.

Several people expressed a concern about the grammar to the client. Often that is all you can do while at the same time managing roles and responsibilities. The client has to decide how serious the proof reading and content writing should be taken if they have chosen that responsibility from the get go.

    Ya, know…

Oh, I hate to tell you, because your design is so beautiful, but development is spelled as such and not as ‘developement’. I specialize in copy editing or I wouldn’t be such a nit.

    Nice work overall—
    Sincerely,

    Vickie

Vickie – The dictionary acknowledges the spelling used on the site.

I see that there is one entry, however, I think that the spelling ‘developement’ is Old French, and it is not common usage. Regardless of how it’s spelled in the URI, I believe the general public will have a negative reaction to the obscure spelling. Just my opinion.

    Sincerely,

    Vickie

I understanding & agree with what you are saying. However, the client, is the client and the client on this particular topic can spell the name of their company however they want.

    Savvy?

I think you spelled “savy” incorrectly. It’s “savvy.” Web developers, geez.

You think? Make up your mind. I either did or I didn’t. Which is it?

    I’m scared. Savvy, but scared.

I think you may have spelled Savvy wrong. You should be scared.
