Ah-calls
A couple of weeks ago I set out to create a script that would ease the burdens of cross-domain xhr (ajax). In doing so I ended up with a script that as of today I am calling ah-calls (asynchronous http calls). You can view this bubbly experimentation here.
It should be noted however that I am still having trouble with this script in IE, go figure!
As I see it, and as a fellow javascript guru pointed out, the script is a bit verbose. What do you think? I’m feeling like this script might be used only for development purposes. If it really has any usefulness at all.
If the mouse pointer changes to a hand when you roll-over an image associated with a story the image upon clicking either links to enlarged version of the image or a website associated with the image.
Tell the other JavaScript guru, “verbose is as verbose does, sir (or ma’am, as the case may be).”
And although this whole idea is a little beyond me, it definitely adds +3 to coolness and +7 to smarts.
Nice job, bro.
@Nate L – So, in DnD terms this think rocks!
